When applying for a job, submit only those credentials and qualifications that will make you the best candidate for the job. Don't submit the others. If you're applying to be a manager at McDonalds, then there is no need to submit your doctorate in underwater basket weaving for the job. However, if you have a Bachelors in business management, then definitely submit that. Make your credentials relevant to what they are seeking.

Wise advise, the doctorate is normally required to teach and if you are running your own consultancy business. I wouldn't include it for positions that normally require a BS such as salesman, Project Manager, Programmer, etc. Unfortunately, the idea of some is that PhDs want large salaries and have little world experience so only include the degrees that are required for the job.
