Anyone have any information about this program(me)? The structure of this program is very interesting in the way it is broken down into points. Anyone know how that breaks down in reference to semester hours here in the states? I'm also curious about the utility of this degree here in the U.S. I didn't get much feedback about the MSc from UCD (University College Dublin) so I'm also curious about this one as well. Lastly, this degree is called "Master of Digital Forensics" so I'm curious as to why it's not designated as a MSc. Is this something unique to Australia? Thanks!

One other thing about this program is that I see no mention of travel. I'm wondering if it's 100% online because that is the turnoff right now for the UCD program. If the UCD program didn't require travel I would be fully motivated to start it.

Reading the information about the degree (course in Australian parlance) it seems to be offered 100% distance education (on-line delivery) as well as 100% on-campus. In other words, you can complete the degree without setting foot on the land of the dingos.

One caveat about AU universities is the tuition for international students is relatively high. There are a number of conferences and symposiums held in Australia in the field of digital forensics and I recall a university there developed forensic software in conjunction with a policing agency. I an sure I would locate the specific information in my ever-growing archive but today I am planning to hike 30 kilometres and enjoy the summer weather.
