    Hi everyone,

I am just finishing up my bachelors and am making plans for my masters. I also have some certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+, MCDST, CCNA, etc. I think the MSITM masters program at TUI would be a good fit for me and right now I am thinking I will go with the Security concentration.

Currently I live in a remote location and dailup is the only internet access I have. I emailed TUI about this and they said it would be ok because I just need access to forums and to be able to upload assignments.

They said that there courses were CD based. Can anyone tell me a little about how these courses are? Are there mp3 lectures on the CDs? Is the CD full of ebooks? What is it like?

I am going to be very busy while I complete this masters so I want to take one course at a time. I understand this program relies on a lot of paper writing, which is something I enjoy. I am wondering what it is like? Do you have a reading assignment and then a question that you are to write about, or are you given a broad topic that you should write about?

How many hours a week did you typically spend on your assignments (studying, writing, everything)? What is the typical length of a successful paper? I am not stupid or lazy but I don't have time to write frequent 20 paper reports so I want to get a good idea of what I am getting myself into.

What is the Integrated Project (Capstone Course). The description of this seems kind of mysterious to me, but that is probably because this is an open ended project that could be completed many ways. But if you could give me some idea of what this entails I would really appreciate it.

Thanks a bunch! If I think of any more questions I will be sure to ask!

There is a lot of info posted on TUI's MS-ITM program. Use the search. There are two papers per unit and six units. One paper is about 5-7 pages and one is 3-4 pages.
