I am planning to take the Certified Computer Examiner (CCE) examination and require Microsoft Windows 98 or 98SE to take the actual course. Does anyone have a legal copy, preferably retail or OEM version, of Microsoft Windows 98/98SE? I have Microsoft Windows 95 so all I really need is the upgrade to MSWin98/98SE, but the OEM version would be welcome. Do NOT send any information about downloading cracked copies of the software. You can send a private message to me so this does not degenerate into buy/sell forum.

I used to have about a dozen copies (original disks and keys from my IT jobs). I will look for one.

I was not able to find any original disks - only back up copies. Sorry :(

Why do you need the original? Microsoft doesn't care the license for Windows 98 SE anymore.

I won't get into EULA's. Are you saying they do not care if you have copies of W98 and share them?

I think they still do Randall. We used to install 98SE on donated computers for the elderly, but we could only install the key a certain amount of times, like 150 per Microsoft, anymore and you had to get a new key that had a new amount of legal installs.

No problem. I will likely head over to Ebay and look into legitimate packages for MSWin98SE.
