Not that this degree in not interesting but isn't this more of a criminal justice degree rather than a computer degree? I did see in the description under the investigation AOS the term Computer Forensics, but no courses relating them. Did I just miss them?

The Master of Forensic Sciences degree could be categorized as either a criminal justice degree or a natural sciences degree.

The degree only provides one computer forensics course as the investigation area of specialization still is principally a broad overview of the forensic sciences. The Master of Forensic Sciences (MFS) seems to provide a good framework within which to apply some of the methodologies and practices of the traditional forensic sciences to the emerging area of digital forensics. If combined with a graduate or post-baccalaureate certificate or diploma, the MFS is an alternative to a Master of Science in Digital Forensics (MSDF).

The MSF does have one (1) digital forensics course, namely, "FSC 621 Electronic Crime Scene Investigation: Computer Forensics."
