    Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone has a link to the least expensive IT degree available. Information Management Systems, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, etc. Doesn't matter so long as it is technology related.

    NA or RA is cool.

    University of London
From the London School of Economics, a B.Sc. in Information Systems and Management for a minimum of 2 700 pounds (about $5 100 US at current exchange); less if taken as a second bachelor's. Speaking of which, a postbaccalaureate undergraduate Diploma for Graduates in Information Systems for a minimum of just 981 pounds (about $1 900 at current exchange). The reputation of the London School of Economics is very high and reaches very far. Goldsmiths College, which is none too shabby, offers a B.Sc. or Diploma in Computer and Information Systems; under 3 500 pounds or $6 700 for the degree.

    Dakota State University
M.S. Information Systems, Information Assurance or Educational Technology at $252.45 per semester hour; also undergraduate programs in MIS or Health Information Management at $190.70 per semester hour.

    Columbus State University
M.S. Applied Computer Science, with concentrations in Software Development or Information Assurance, or a non-concentration program, about $4 700 (!) at last report.

    Tarleton State University
M.S. Information Systems, about $8,100 total at last report.

    Fort Hays State University
...really offers an affordable master's program for almost anyone. In this case, it would be the Master of Liberal Studies concentration in Information Assurance, or perhaps Educational Technolgy, or perhaps the M.S. Instructional Technology. $182 per semester hour.

    University of Illinois Online
Various bachelor's and master's degrees from different constitutent universities; in-state tuition or close, to my understanding, for online students wherever they are.

See also the list of CS-related master's Best Buys at geteducated.com, which may be a bit dated and incomplete, and is limited to U.S. RA, but offers more to consider at slightly higher price points (including Colorado State, Virginia Polytechnic and UMass Amherst - ooh.), and a couple extra possibilities at the lowest end if you live in the right state.

Lawrie Miller's low-cost master's list at bain4weeks.com, wonderful but even more dated (and watch out for much higher tuitions today for international students those Australian universities, like USQ), has a few gems like this University of Hawai'i M.S. Information & Computer Science; it would take a bit of digging to find its current tuition, but could well be worth digging.

And add every one of the Big Three, of course, at the undergrad level...

    Good luck!

Columbus State University is the best to me cost around 5k and can be completed in one year if not working.

    Touro's largesse?

I don't know that it is widely known, but TUI offers a significant tuition break to California residents under their CTAP program. Cost of the MS in Information Technology Management (MSITM) falls to $6750 from $10,800. There's an identical break for federal, state, and local government employees under TUIs Federal Tuition Assistance Program (FTAP).

Effective per-hour graduate tuition rate is $187.50.

You probably already know about the Aspen prepaid deal of $4,200.00. Here are the IT related Masters they have:
