Greetings all. I am just about to finish my Bachelor's in General Business as soon as I pay for the effing "Information Literacy" course..geez.

My next step is to study for the Oracle 10g OCA certification and after that the PMI CAPM cert.

My question is: "Are there any superior CBTs that any of you have used to help with their certification? I know there are good books but I would like to have a simulator as well to enhance study. I plan on studying 2hrs. a day for 2 mos. before I attempt the exam". Thanks..

I understand that Trancender is very good although I have not used their product.

For PMP, I recommend PM FASTrack: PMP Exam Simulation Software by Rita Mulcahy. The software is very pricy; however, it was the key to my success on the exam. I passed with an overall score of 84%. The questions are very similar to what you will see on the actual exam.

I've used CBT nuggets videos in the past. They have been excellent and have recently released videos on Oracle 10g. Between that and Transcender you should have no problems passing.

    The website is www.cbtnuggets.com

I second the information on the PM FASTrack software. It is very good. I used it for passing the exam last Sept.

Thanks for the great suggestions. I will go over the Transcender, CBT Nuggets, and PM Fastrack offerings. Does anyone have any of this software they they would like to sell? Thanks again.

    Hi!

I just used an Oracle 10g cbt that I bought off ebay as well as the sybex books (about $70 on amazon).

I would highly recommend Oracle University classes as well (e.g. 5 day Admin I). They are really very good...and a class is required anyway (unlike 8i)...but they are expensive ($3000/class).

And while it's only 2 exams for 10g, I feel it is tougher than the 8i or 9i exams (IMO). Of course, your mileage may vary.
