I am looking to finish my MS degrees in IT through distance learning. Could anyone with an experience in this road in USA give me some advices as well as with which University to go for? Thanks
wow that is a big question, so before I say "use the search feature" I should ask you if you could narrow that down some? What are you looking for in a school and in a degree? If you really don't know that yet, its still fine. But there are many many threads you could read.
IT Distance learning degrees Thanks Tscalzitti for your input. In fact, I started some classes at St. Cloud State University, Minnesota, USA in spring 2006 in the Information Media department where I could work toward in a MS apply Information Technology Coordinator. I have an AAS in Microcomputer Support and Network Administration and a BAS apply management. The Degree at St. Cloud State University is what I am looking for. I would like to find a place where I could take some online classes in case my work schedule don't allow me to finish the degree at St. Cloud State University. I decided to investigate earlier instead starting to worry when stuck. St. Cloud State University http://www.stcloudstate.edu/ Information Media Graduate Programs (IM) http://bulletin.stcloudstate.edu/gb/programs/im.asp#information Note: St. Cloud State University has online classes on these programs but most of the courses are in class. Thanks again,
a great resource to start researching IT DL degrees is JoAnn Peeler's web page (link below). JoAnn is probably getting tired of me promoting her website, but it is a good one for IT distance learning. http://www.cise.ufl.edu/~jpeeler/index.html
Are you looking for a degree in a specific area of IT (i.e. software engineering, information assurance, computer science, etc) or an actual MS in IT (MSIT)? That would help us narrow it down.
A very interesting, Australian, online, affordable program integrated with Microsoft certifications is discussed in depth here. Charles Sturt University offers a Master in IT integrated with your choice of MCSE, .NET, MCDBA (now MCITP) as well as some Cisco and Novell streams. Mark
For what it's worth, you may want to consider Aspen. At $4200 for the whole Masters degree - it's worth considering (IMO). Hope this helps! Greg
