Are you saying here that you don't need Engineering Council registration to get MIET?

That would mean very similar to the MBCS which means as a fresh graduate, you can get the title.

    Yes,

MIET is the MBCS equivalent at IET UK.

They request for CV and a signed proposer who can confirm
the info in resume or a manager at work etc.

Once one is a member he can request a form for post nominal MIET or TMIET and based on the info provided in the form, CV and recommendations they award MIET post nominal or TMIET.

In the Royal Charter they call MIET (Professional Engineers)
CEng is Registered Professional Engineer with ECUK.

    That's the latest.

I'm MIET and PE, P.Eng working on CEng.

I have qualification of Engineer in Russian Federation from RAE accredited program - RAE is the RUssian version of ABET and listed on EC UK web site.

    I Olso have C&GI qualifications.

Do you have UK P.Eng or US PE?

I am tempted to join the IET, since they have a bigger group in NA unlike the BCS. To me one good professional membership is enough just want to pick the best one.
