I've been looking around for a place to get an online MS in CS, Software Engineering, or equivalent. Columbus State University appears to be an amazing deal...$138 per credit hour, which means you can complete the degree for $4968.

Is there anyone here who has gone there? Or has an opinion one way or the other, about the school, program, curriculum, etc?

    Milieu,

Well, I don't have any experience with them. However, I like their program as well... Especially Master of Science in Computer Science - Information Assurance. The tuition looks very good to me too, especially for Montgomery G.I Bill. It requires GRE exam of 900 verbal and Math.

So far on my list: Capitol College, University of Texas at Dallas ( traditional), and Columbus State University.

I've been seeing a lot of Information Assurance programs while researching for a degree. Have you looked at Dakota State University?

Tuition is $240 per credit, around $7k for the whole deal.

I looked at Capitol, but didn't like their CS curriculum. Most of the available electives are Information Assurance classes, which is fine if that's what you're after. Just not what I'm looking for. I really liked Walden's program, but it's way out of my price range.

    My current shortlist:
    Columbus State University
    University of Hawaii
    Colorado State
    NOVA Southeastern
    California State University - Chico
