Champlain College offers a bachelor degree in software engineering although the cost is relatively high. The school does qualify for federal student loans and private loans. Champlain College is regionally accredited (RA) and well-respected.

There are less expensive schools out there.

At the bachelor's level, there's not much. Software Engineering as a BS is only starting to tkae hold in traditional universities.

At the master's level, you have lots of choice, and several of them very affordable. At the graduate level, it's seen as a practioner's degree, much in the same vain as other Engineering Masters.

Providing you are not taking a full courseload (5 courses) per semester you can keep the costs around USD3,500.00 per semester (3 courses). If it takes a little longer to earn the degree you really want, so what? In the end, though, education is a very personal decision and an investment with a good return on investment (ROI) in certain areas.

Otherwise finish your bachelor degree at Grantham University and look for a graduate degree in software engineering at another school.

I know from speaking with students at Champlain College that companies such as IBM regard the school as a quality educational institution and offer tuition reimbursement to their employees.

Are you pushing for the Software Engineering for a specific reason? Are you looking for an ABET approved program?
There are many Computer Sciece programs that are very affordable. From my reading, the Bachelor's in CS degree is normally sufficient to join a Masters program in Software Engineering.
I'm not saying the SE degree isn't worthwhile, I'm just trying to determine if there are other options that might be more affordable.

    Btw:
the classes seem ok but the custorm service is a little on the lacking side

People complain about the customer service at just about every school. It's unfortunate, but appears to be a constant throughout the eduacation world. Your experience may be an exception, but many people who are disappointed have high expectations and this is why they are disappointed.
I would recommend documenting every dispute carefully and researching the schools carefully to make sure someone isn't acting arbitrarily. If your problem has been with a specific instructor/professor, try to avoid taking classes with them in the future.
If you let people know on this board where the school has been lacking, they may have specific suggestions.
    Best of luck,
