This is easily one of my favorite colleges here in Oregon. I have studied some C programming there and found the teachers to be top notch. I wanted to let others know they are offering a D/L IT degree there. There are a few classes you will need to complete elsewhere unless you live in the Oregon area or have a lab somewhere else you can use. Oregon Institute of Technology IT degree online They are on a quarter system, but only cost $145 per quarter credit (this is with fees included) Degree looks very solid to me.
X, thanks for this. I'm going to refer this to some people at work. OIT as a "real school": I didn't find mention of their accreditation, but I see they have a basketball team. Good enough for me
OIT is a STATE school even though they don't state that anywhere. They are a part of the Oregon state university systems.
And here is where they mention being a state school: http://www.oit.edu/Default.aspx?DN=2873,6,1,Documents
You guys have any thoughts on this program vs say WGU IT program. I like that this is a state school in my state, I also like that the cost is low. But WGU does allow you to get certs as part of the program so that is a big deal.
