Just curious. Are any DIlander's companies moving into SWEBOK programs?

What are people's thoughts on SWEBOK? My area is starting to make the move to SWEBOK ONLY rather than keeping the general group of people who normally have been used to do projects. For instance, we would have normally used analysts to do requirements, architects, testers, business integrators, and developers. Now, we are cutting people to move to SWEBOK. The natural implication here is to be lean. Fewer people on a project and a person now wears many hats.

I am debating whether to move to a new area of the company or stay and do SWEBOK. Right now, I am inclined to move to a business area of the company but would like to gather some discussion around the topic.
