    two tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level. A doctorate in
    computer science, information systems, information technology, or closely
    related field is required. Candidates who have not completed the Ph.D. will
    be considered, but the degree must be completed within the first year of
    service. Candidates in all areas are invited to apply, but a doctorate in
    computer science is preferred for one position and specialties in database
    systems, information security and assurance, and ERP systems are of
    particular interest for the other.

    Radford University is a co-educational, comprehensive, state-supported
    institution located in the New River Valley of Virginia next to the
    beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. The Department of Information Technology
    offers undergraduate concentrations in computer science, networks, database,
    software engineering, information systems, and web development. Position

    Mathematics: Berry College invites applications for a tenure-track
    position in mathematics to begin August 2006 at the Assistant Professor
    rank. Applicants are expected to have a strong interest in teaching and
    a commitment to continuing scholarly activity. Applicants must have a
    Ph.D. (or ABD) in mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
    Preference will be given to applicants with at least 18 graduate hours
    in computer science. Effective English language skills are essential.
    Teaching assignments are flexible within the disciplines of mathematics
    and/or computer science and will include both lower and upper-level
    courses.

    graduate transcripts, statements of teaching philosophy and research

    Norma Wilentz Hess Fellowship at Wellesley College

    Wellesley College is delighted to announce a visiting fellowship
    generously funded by the Norma Wilentz Hess Faculty and Program Fund in
    Computer Science. This fellowship will help Wellesley maintain a flexible
    Computer Science curriculum that explores interdisciplinary learning and
    new directions of special promise.

    We are seeking an outstanding teacher and scholar to be the first Norma
    Wilentz Hess Fellow, a two-year Visiting Assistant Professor position
    starting in September, 2006. Applicants should have a Ph.D in Computer
    Science or a related discipline. Strong candidates in any area of
    specialty will be considered, but we especially encourage applicants in
    interdisciplinary fields such as multimedia, human/computer interaction,
    artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, educational computing, and
    ethical, social, and legal aspects of computing.

    With a teaching load of one course per semester, the Hess Fellow will have
    ample opportunity for innovative course development and collaborative
    teaching and research projects with Wellesley faculty and students. The
    fellowship also includes support for travel, research, equipment,
    conference attendance, and other academic activities.
