I have a question regarding course descriptions. I'm interested in obtaining a CIS degree from Excelsior. In order for transferred IT courses to be accepted, you need to provide a course description. Has anyone done this before? What is a course description? Can I write a description myself? What if I don't remember the exact course plan because I took the course 6 or 7 years ago. Can I contact the school where I took the courses and ask them for a course description? Thanks for your help, Brandon
Hi, I recently enrolled in Excelsior myself. I found a pdf with my schools catalog and sent it to the advisors. Your previous school should have descriptions of the courses you took, with any luck they'll be online.
