I have seen a couple of post for Charles Stuart and taking the CISSP as part of a MS programs, but does anyone know if any college that are RA in the USA that do the same. If not, has anyone used Charles Stuart and continued for a PhD. Thanks
For the sake of the board we should note this is only done for the benefit of the student and is not a part of the curriculum. Norwich is simply a testing site.
I did check out Capella University's MS in Information Technology with a Sec Specialization. Whats the word on this school?? The will take the CISSP as several credit (quater system) but I want something that I can build on in the future. What kind of accredidation does Capella have?
I can not speak for Capella. I do see they are one of the new NSA schools, so that is a plus. For the cost I would consider other options. (other NSA schools) I must ask. You already have your CISSP, why are you looking to do a MS in IA? Accreditation - I believe Capella is RA.
I have found the market very very competitive. I love my field, and want to advance so I need the degree. Alot of other security certs are either rarley tested for (CISA is once every 6 months) or incredibly expenseive (GIAC). AND the company i work for will pay for college but not alot of certs, so its a way to continue to grow.
