Interesting. I used to work in IT, and the Bachelor's I recently finished at Charter Oak was with an Information Systems concentration because my old certifications made that one the fastest to complete. However, I'm not interested in being in the industry as such anymore. I think there's more opportunity for people in other fields, especially when they can say they have IT experience in addition. I'm doing a Master's in Educational Technology Leadership because it lets me continue to take advantage of my strength in IT while also adding educational administration, which interests me more these days. -=Steve=-
Smart move. There's a good article on the cover of this month's (July 2005) print edition of eSchool News entitled, "Tech is the ticket to ed reform (Technology can help overhaul schools" by assistant editor Robert Brumfield. It seems to suggest you're taking the right approach.
