Hello all, I'm currently enrolled in the MBA program at Ellis College of NYIT with a specialization in Management of Technology. I am contemplating dropping the specialization part to pursue a grad certificate in I.T. Management since that is my current job and the MOT specialization is more broad in scope. Can anyone suggest a 100% online Grad Cert in IT Mgmt at a highly regarded institution?

    Thank you!

One program you can investigate is Capitol College. It seems to be highly regarded by some of the posters here and the IT certificate seems pretty interesting. Here are the classes required for the certificate:

    SM-563 Managing Information Systems
    SM-567 Telecommunications and Computer Networks
SM-569 Decision Support and Expert Systems
    MBA-650 Strategic Management

I can certainly speak for the teaching method / quality of the school.

You might enjoy the class format as it is live and open microphone. As a student there are live and asynchronous classes. If you want "UOP" style of classes, this is not for you.

I would rate all but one professor as excellent ... and one as horrible. The support staff members are more than helpful and very friendly. One thing to consider is Capitol is not very well known in some areas of private industry (although gaining recognition).

The cost is reasonable, especially after you join the IEEE as a student and get 10% off tuition.

Another benefit is the credits can be applied to their MS program.

    Thanks,
    Steve
