I have taken a few classes at New Horizons such as Managing a W2K Network, Networks+, and CCNA. With knowledge and skill I was able to pass the Microsoft exam. I could have taught the N+ class - easy pass. I failed the CCNA exam 735/850. It was tough and I did not have any hands on experience to speak of. A true test of skill and knowledge. I had the knowledge but not the skills (hands on). I would rate all of the prep classes as pretty good. I have started my first online class and it is a joke. It is made up of seven lessons and I completed lesson one in about 40 minutes. I have a co-worked that completed all seven and failed the test. He said about 30% of the material on the test was not covered. He even went back through the training thinking he missed it the first time. By the way, this is for Security+. I don't know if anyone has ever taken the online format but I am not happy. Has anyone else had any experience with this?
