Has anyone looked at this program? Looks like a good program, with a couple of different concetrations. The tuition looks pretty low also.
I have been pretty set on an MBA with a MIS or Technology Management concentration, but I guess I still have a little window open for a straight MIS degree. I was happy to see this from FSU, and just wondered if others knew this was coming up and whether they would recommend this type of program from FSU.
If you can wait for its start date, then you can take the MIS degree with the Managment Concentration (i.e. take 3 courses from the online MBA program). I suppose this is similar to having an MBA with an MIS concentration. I don't know if you have the same take; however, I still think there is more value in the MBA degree because of those three letters. You should talk with the department about whether they might open up an MIS concentration to the online MBA degree.
Great advice, JoAnn. I agree that there is more value in an MBA at this point for my situation, but I will take your advice and talk with someone at FSU about possibly doing a dual degree just to see what options are available.
