I was wondering if any of you had past experiences about the employer reaction to/recognition of the Athabasca CIS degree. I hold a 3 year community college diploma (canadian collegees offer 3 year assiociate degrees) in software engineering, but decided to pursue a bachelors degree. I enrolled in one of the most prestigious "on-campus" universities in Canada afterwards, however that didnt work out well as I didnt make the cut off to stay. My options are very limited at this point I guess, but I wanted to see if any of you has gone through that program and had any employer feedback on it. Last thing I need right now is spending another 15 grand on something that wont be favorably looked at by employers. I realize however that B.Sc is crucial if I'm going to be successful in this industry over the next 30 years. I appreciate any feedback/comments you might have!
