I'm wondering if it's possible to pursue a MA/MS in IT or some other technology degree online without a relevant undergraduate degree (BA in English) or would I basically need to go back for a post-bac? I can handle some minor prerequisites but would prefer not to have to take so many courses that aren't going to count towards the masters. I'm also not currently working in the technology field but can pick things up fairly quickly and have had previous experience in the dotcom days.
It is possible to get in to a technology degree program without a technology undergrad. Depending on the school you might need to take: CS GRE Math & CS Prereqs show corresponding experience If you check the school's website that you're interested in, you can usually find the answer to this question. Check out Bellevue University's MS in CIS. They have some courses that you would take if you don't have the relevant B.S., but I think they count toward the 36 credits required for the degree. Sean
