I would like to hear opinions on which of these programs is the best MS in project management.

Brandeis Univerisy - MS in management of projects and programs
Florida Institute of Technology - MS in project management
George Washington University - MS in project management
Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University - MS in project management
Western Carolina University - MS in project management
University of Wisconsin-Platteville - MS in project management

Best in accreditation is Western Carolina. If you have a PMP then UW-Plattville is a great option. Name recognition would be George Washington University.

Some questions for consideration. What do you want to do with the degree? What area of the country do you want to work?

THe MS degree does not substitute for the PMP certification. Silly, but very often you will see job postings for degrees in other areas, MBA, MMIS, BSEE, etc... with the PMP as an added qualification.

Personally, I like Mississippi State's MBA (AACSB) with a Project Management concentration. It is a better option in the workplace for project management unless you are doing construction or engineering.

    Kevin,

Thank you very much. Your answers were exactly what I was looking for. I am working on an MBA and was considering next going for an MS in PM. I will make PMP certification my next step.
