Has anyone here had any experience with the University of Denver's University College? I am particuularly interested in the online MAS In Computer Information Systems, Distributed Object-Oriented Analysis & Design program, but I'd like to hear any input on the school itself. The price seems right, the accreditation is in place and the programs seem quite useful. This doesn't look like a "gimme" program at all.

A big question I know I have is: What is the difference, in practice, between an M.S. and an M.A.S.? Will a Masters of Applied Science become a stopping point for me somewhere down the road?

    Thanks,

One interesting thing I have learned about this program is that I can start grad school before I finish my B.S. Technically, I wouldn't be enrolled in the program, but I could take the courses and apply them toward a certificate. Once I finish my B.S., I could be accepted into the M.A.S. program and have all of the courses I've taken apply to my Masters degree. That would trim off some time from the overall process and let me do my B.S. and M.A.S. quicker. It would also give me something of substance to do while I'm coasting through the B.S. program at Bellevue. That's pretty interesting to me.
