Hi all, Just wondering if Oracle University is accredited/ licensed anywhere in the US? Or is it merely a corporate university cum industry certification body? Any utility to their programs i.e. recognition in industry? Cheers, George
Hi George, how are you? I don't see them listed on the CHEA, but there is a list of credits we accept from them at UOP. http://phoenix.edu/plac/aql-computer.asp#ORACLE and the main corporate credit list is here http://phoenix.edu/plac/preevaluated.asp I know that doesn't totally answer your question, but I figured this may be interesting/helpful to you
Cheers Myles. Yeah, I am ok. Trying to balance work with PhD - damn hard. Thanks for the info. So would it be correct to suggest that they provide small, unit by unit programs and not qualifications persay? No Masters degrees? Cheers, George
I don't think they have legal authority to grant degrees, it just looks like a corporate school like AT&T U or Microsoft's Computer Training.com. I'll bet balancing a PHD and work is crazy, I don't know how you guys do it, i'm dreading the Master's i'm starting this year!
