TESC Question: Computer Science Technology - Additional Advanced Courses

    Hi!

    Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look for 2 advanced computer science classes (besides database design) to satisfy the "additional advanced courses" for the BSAST in CS Technology?

    Link to list of courses required.

    Check out Athabasca (www.athabascau.ca)

    They have quite a few CS courses available via distance learning.
    You can also test out of or challenge courses which you already have experience in.

    Great, thanks a bunch Brandon!
    I will probably challenge their Artificial Intelligence CS 456 for credit.

    Any other options, anyone?

    Regis University (http://www.regis.edu) offers many CS courses online and/or through guided independant study. I was pretty happy with the coures I took there. I ended up doing the BA in Computer Science rather than the BSAST, but what I learned was to verify that a course meets your schools requirements prior to taking it by checking with your advisor.
