It looks like a solid program, great for someone with a business or tech undergrad degree. Total cost looks to be around 13K plus books which is acceptable. They mention financial aid, is that possible at the graduate level????

Heres a list of courses in the program:

    Concentration in Information Systems
    (Code: 8402)
Program Prerequisites (noncredit for this program)

    Required Courses (8 courses) ................................................................................................. 24

    TOTAL CREDITS REQUIRED 33

It looks good and I will seriously consider this when I graduate along with the UIS MIS program and ECU's MBA and Industrial Technology programs.

Their MS in Management with an IS concentration looks good too. Anyone know anything about the school?

    Thanks for the post.

I like this program and I'm seriously thinking of applying for admissions after I complete a MS in Computer Science. I have spoken with staff of both FIT and Bisk Education and there is some things that students should be aware. Since the IS concentration is administered by Bisk, the tuition is higher and the courses are given in 6 - 8 week terms per year. Each term is an accelerated semester.

Here is an email I received from Vicky Knerly, an admissions councelor at FIT:

    Hi JoAnn:

Yes, the tuition is higher for the BISK program; however, it's a compressed format (i.e., a condensed schedule) plus the courses use a bit more technology than we do in our courses. Those courses use the same professors we do; however, the courses are delivered using video components, whereas most of ours do not. For more information on the BISK program, please feel free to contact them directly at 800-605-5197. You would apply through that website if you're interested in that degree (http://floridatechonline.com).

You're welcome to pursue the general MS in Systems Management with us if you prefer. I'll be the one to advise you if that's your choice. You would apply through our website (https://paws.adm.fit.edu and click on "Apply for Admissions". At the next page, click on "First time user account creation,"

and then follow the instructions for completing the online application from there).

Please feel free to contact me if you have additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Vicky
