    Greetings.

The "Computer Science Studies" concentration offered by Charter Oak State College (www.cosc.edu, http://www.cosc.edu/Forms/compscience.pdf) requires that all three of the following classes be taken, and that ONE of them includes "Proof of team project experience."
    Database Systems
    Software Engineering
    Software Systems Design Networks

Might anyone know of a DL course, in one of the above subjects, that includes a team project?

    Thanks in advance!

P.S. The question is NOT urgent.

    Team Project

    Richard,

I just finished taking CEN 4010 Software Engineering at FSU and it requires a team project. My project team consisted of three people and they had to create Risk Assessments, Requirements Document, Project Plan, Meeting Minutes for bi-weekly meetings, Design Document, Prototype Document, and of course the actual source code for the actual deliverable. This sort of course if VERY time consuming as coordinating a project at a distance can be challenging, but it was a very gratifying experience. I have to admit that I learned a lot about long distance team work.

While the DL program at FSU doesn't take non-degree students as far as I know, CEN 4010 is also offered at Florida Atlantic University and they do take non-degree students. So as long as you have the prerequisites, you can take the course. However, what I don't know is whether or not they have the team project or not (but I would wager that they do.) The FAU FEEDS web site is located here.

    Good Luck!
