Anybody with recent experience with ACCIS?

I've looked at their program several times over the last few years and wonder if it is worth the money. There are viable alternatives (Troy State is one), but this program appears to be extremely flexible.

Please enlighten us with a description of a course. Is it video, textbook, CD, Internet based jnstruction or a combination? Are there proctored tests? Testing online? How rigorous are the courses?

What is the utility of the BSCS in comparison to others? Prior to enrolling, you probably weighed these things. Let us know. I don't really want to get into the DETC vs RA argument. That's not the point. I'm asking about knowledge gained from the program. Does the graduate come out with some skills? That's the point!

Troy State's BSCS program allows 18 free elective credits (another 18 credits towards a "military science" minor totaling 36 credits if you are/were military w/ enough ACE credits for training/MOS)

Was pretty flexible for me (allowed me to transfer an AAS in technical studies that had nothing to do w/ computer science). The courses are challenging (a little more than I thought it would be).

Although, they just have a BSCS (not MSCS) is that what you want considering you already have a BS? ACCIS has an MSCS I believe, so maybe that would be a better choice for you.

I do have a BS, but not in CS. I will need to take quite a few preparatory courses if I try to enroll in an MSCS program. That's why I was looking at BSCS.

    Troy State looks good, though.
