Can anyone who took the ECE English Composition exam tell me how long their scores actually took? I am horrified, given the thread search I did, on the number of people who were disappointed by their grades. I expect to be one of them, I just hate the agony of not knowing.

Please, if you have taken the test, be kind and post an estimate of how long you had to wait to receive your score. Thanks in advance to all.

About two months though I've heard of it taking ten weeks to 12 weeks.

It's true that many have expressed disappointment with their "C" grade in this test. I too earned a "C". Had there been time to challenge the marking, I certainly would have done so. As it was, I wanted my degree conferred by USNY before Regents separated, so could not wait to go through the involved complaints procedure.

A "C" in freshman year English composition would be the minimum standard expected of a student aged 18 studying at a traditional institution. I haven't written at that standard since age 12.

In more charitable moments I've wondered if English was the second language the examiner. However, on sober reflection, it is certain the grader of my paper was drunk. I can find no compassion in my heart for the dirty sod.
