The ECE Ethics exam gives sampe questions that include freestanding multiple-choice questions, and those that are about a case study. Although the exam explains that 2/3rds are in the applied area, there's no indication of how many or what proportion of the exam uses "case study" type questions? S0--for those who have taken it, do you know? --Orson
For the record: The 2/3 applied portion is almost entirely case studies. I think that around 110 of the 160 questions when I took this exam, this past week, were case studies. One thing that I didn't like was that everything was bunched together. First I answered all the questions relating to the general theory, and then it was one case study after another. It doesn't matter in the long run, but it would have been nice to have things a bit more mixed up.
