How to earn my bachelor's in business management entirely through tests/exams

    Hello Everyone!

I am new here and i know this may be a little redundant but i felt i needed to make this thread as it was a little confusing going through others.
I intend to begin my college degree with no prior credits and i would like to this though testing out (or at least 95% of it). I want to earn a general business degree and i need to know the degree path on how i can test out using CLEP/DANTES,etc. I will be going with either TESC or Excelsior College.

So basically for those who have gone the same route with the same degree, I need the entire degree path from start to finish of classes/credits to earn.

    Thank You in advance

A lot of information about that is here: BAin4Weeks.com. You probably can't really do it in four weeks, especially anymore now that the colleges that support this approach have mostly added a few additional requirements, but this is probably still the best info there currently is.

TESC is the only one left of the Big 3 with degrees without capstones that have to be taken as a course in residence, but there aren't many. The BSBAs do not have a capstone. I made a test out plan for the BSBA in General Management.

Thank you Sanantone. Do I need to apply to Tesc and get accepted first before testing? Or can i take all my tests and then apply, get them evaluated and then granted my degree?
Also math is my weakness and i would like to know a good study format for passing the algebra/calculus cleps/dssts. Your help is very much appreciated!

I'd suggest you do most of your tests first. I'm not a Big 3 grad myself, but I've heard that people often delay actual enrolment at TESC until they're nearly ready to graduate. That way, they save a lot of money. It's quite legitimate - and saves the cost of enrolment for every one of those semesters spent working on the degree credits. That can add up to a considerable sum.

As Johann said, you can complete all of the credits before applying and/or enrolling. You don't need calculus for the business degree. Straighterline, Propero, and Sophia Learning offer ACE-approved, self-paced options for math. ALEKS also offers a self-paced option, but no one knows if they are going to have their ACE approval reinstated. If you insist on using CLEP, Khan Academy videos are pretty good.

TESC might not give you credit for college algebra for the Fundamentals of College Algebra DSST. On the website, it says they will give you credit for MAT-115 which is Intermediate Algebra.

Similarly, Charter Oak State College has an annual fee, and I waited to enroll there until I was sure I was less than a year away from completion. Their admissions people even advised me to do so, and helped me figure out which exams to take even though I hadn't yet enrolled!

COSC no longer has an annual fee. They charge a cheaper semester fee.
