For anyone who reads this I would like to say thank you for your time.]

When I first graduated high school I completed one year of college courses knocking off all of my basics except my math. I have only 21 hours which include two social studies, geology, speech, psychology, sociology and the basic English course. I currently work as a Fire fighter and have been out the school game for four years and from my job I have certifications such as Hazmat Awareness, Ops, Firefighter 1 and 2 and EMT B. I tried to attend my local University this past year but the teachers were not so understanding of my 24 on and 48 off work schedule. From browsing and searching this forum I decided I want to go for the BSBA in Business from the TESC. As much as this sounds lazy and inconsiderate of past threads I would like to know a straight forward path I would need to take as in what must I do Immediately and some advice on the path which I should take to getting this started. I would appreciate any help and would like to say thank you in advance.

My Goal is to have some type of Degree within the year IF POSSIBLE if not then as soon as possible

    Josh

Each person's most direct path is different. If you're keen on TESC then apply and get it from the horse's mouth what you need to do to get through. Be sure to ask about FEMA courses, they're free and to the extent they don't duplicate your certifications they might save you time.

By the way, if you've searched around here then you know people also often recommend Charter Oak State College and Excelsior College for people in your situation. Did you consider them before choosing TESC? (If so, fair enough, there's nothing wrong with them!)

I appreciate the information I looked into Charter Oak I guess the best path is to just go on ahead and call up the school and ask them directly like you said. Ill look into the FEMA classes I didnt know those even applied Ill look more into it but once again thank you

I passed Social Science and history 2 months ago. That was stressful, but worth it.
Now, Intro to Sociology is my next objective. I will be taking it in a couple of days. The SS&H CLEP can be worth two history electives or social sciences, it depends on the school.

I made a test out plan for the BSBA at TESC. Send me a pm if you're interested in seeing it.
