    Hello,

I am looking into continuing my education at APU, but I would like to have a few more credits out-of-the-way first. I am already planning to CLEP history and intro to sociology, but I would like to take English online.

I was wondering if Straighterline would be a feasible option? :scratchchin:

I think it's worth doing but it takes a long, long time to get papers graded.

So plan on more than a month

    Thanks Aettillygirl,

So, It may take a few weeks for them to grade papers? :frown:
I am not surprised, but you would think it would be easier online. :privateeye:

Yes i submitted my first paper 1/8/13 and just today (1/20/13) got my first grade on an essay. I have 8 more waiting.....5 are drafts but 3 are finals, (I got tired of waiting). Shouldn't have though, I would've done better if I'd waited for the critique. So there's just no way to speed it up.

So, there are three papers, but the drafts are the time vampires. :grumpy:

How are the spelling and grammar lessons? :ponder:

I agree, it sounds simple enough.

StraighterLine likes to have their courses proctored, was it necessary for this class? :scratchchin:

Once I'm done with the CLEP this will be my next endeavor.

No, there is no proctoring. Still no more grades (grrr)

They are ACE approved, that should make the process of transferring easier.

Just got my papers graded, 89 for my overall grade. I've actually been pretty darn impressed with SL. 5 classes since Oct. has been great. They are all challenging.
