I just finished and passed this CLEP....THANK YOU LORD!! I have the CDROM program and books if anyone needs them. The Physical Science book is their own edition. I think it was more than $100 in addition to the course.

    Congratulations!

I'm going to begin prepping for this soon, and already have the REA material for it.

What can you recall about the content of the exam?

    Ughh!

It was the hardest test I have ever taken.....I love Biology and Earth Science, but Physics and Chemistry just doesn't stick to my brain!! LOL! I also feel that way about Music Theory and Algebra! The thing that was the most mentionable about the test is that it isn't based on facts. I spent 2 months studying both books, more than 1600 flashcards, etc. I would say that only about 40-50 questions I was 90% confident about. Most of the test covers understanding of concepts. I quickly went through the 120 questions and marked the ones I was fairly sure of. Then I took the rest of the time to make educated guesses. I tried to eliminate at least 2 of the answers and then took a guess. I got really lucky to be honest. I am not a Math/Science person. My degree is in music, so this was pretty tough for me. Just make sure you don't just memorize concepts, but that you understand them. Keep posted on how you do! GOOD LUCK!!!
