New CLEP College Comp With Essays
I recently took the new (as of July 2010) CLEP College Composition exam. I had a few questions.
The CLEP site specifically states that the College Composition exam will not print out a score immediately after taking the test, but mine did. It gave me a score of 38. My questions are as follows: Is this my final score? It couldn't have counted the essays, and because of that I would like to know how much the Essay section is 'worth'. The website acts as though the essay section is a combined score that is weighted equally with the other portion of the exam. Does this mean that if I did rather well on the essay section that I still have a chance to pass the exam? The score of 38 just has me nervous, and I would like to know how much higher my score can go based upon the essays. Any help or answers are appreciated! -
This site seems to indicate a score of 50 is required. So perhaps the essay portioned is not included in your 38 score. CLEP Credit-Granting Recommendations Tags for this Thread Posting Permissions - You may not post new threads
