Finally done with my Aleks college Algebra!!!!

Hi guys well I finished today and thanks for your support on my other post when I felt like giving up, yes 159 hours on it a lot of coffee and many long nights, I m not good in math but Im also not rich to pay for so many remedial classes at my school, I turned in the paper work so Im hoping I can get a transcript fast so that I can send it to my school.

Curious...

Did you feel like you needed remedial math when you started the Alecks algebra? I haven't taken a math class in 30 years and I need 3 units for Excelsior.

It had been about 25 years for me

I already had a college Algebra on my transcript, but I was in bad shape from lack of use. I took the ALEKs beginning Algebra and after a fight got credit from TESC. If you are that rusty in math the begining algebra might be a better idea to start, even if you can't get credit it will make the college algebra easier to understand.

to be honest I feel that I needed one remedial course or tutoring to help me out because on the placement exam I got an 80 but because of the way the school works it would have taken me more than one semester to get the college algebra class but I liked the aleks I took my time and to be honest I learned a lot,
