    Hi all!

I'm a new poster around here, although I have been reading the threads for awhile. I need some advice from those of you who have taken the general GRE. I need it for my application to grad school, and my goal is to take the general GRE in the summer. My main concern in the Quantitative section of the exam. I was wondering, what materials did you use to study for this section of the exam, how did you study, do you have any particular pointers or tips, etc? Any advice for any part of the exam will be most welcome, but as stated I am particularly concerned with the Quantitative part. I'm just not quite sure where to begin...

    Thanks in advance!

Get one of the cheap study guides

I used the Dummies guide and did pretty well. I tried a couple of others, but found it to be the most bearable. The test is so common that the usual guidebook publishers have created pretty reliable materials.
