Which CLEP study guide?

I would like to take the following CLEP's - Western Civilization,American Government, and US History II. I have take 5 CLEP exams and have used the REA books and found them to be wonderful.
Could someone please suggest a very good study guide for these topics and thank you for all the information that has been posted here in the past.

 

Randell, I found the Cliffs Quick Review more than adequate for the subject matter in U.S. History I. There aren't any practice tests, but the information is much more easily skimmed than in a textbook if a brush-up is all you need.

Go to the library and ask for a book titled Dont Know Much About History by Kenneth Davis. It should have all the U.S. History info you will need plus it is an enjoyable book to read. I found it very helpful.

 

For American Government, I'd try
_U.S. Government and Politics_
(on Barnes and Noble, it's _Apex AP U.S. Government and Politics_)
produced by Kaplan. It's only $19 -- covers the CLEP outline exactly, and even though it looks lengthy (not quite 400 pages), it's not since it has WIIIDE margins, and includes multiple choice quizes on the material so you can keep track of your learning.

BUT, if you want to really know the subject, the core chapters on which most of the test is bases, refer to the end of Princeton Review's CLEP General book; then read the corresponding core chatpers of the classic )7 ot 8 edtions) _American Government_ by James Q. Wilson.
It gets 5* reader reviews ot Amazon.com, and having read the book myself, I know it deserves them.
