I'd be interested to hear what is on the exam aswell. Make sure you report back to this thread after you take the exam with all the details of the test. Thanks!

The questions are just like the one on the fact sheet

  4. i just took this exam today, (and passed!) it was fairly easy, there are some basic things to know:
    what a glossary is
the different parts of a report
    the different parts of reports
    basic grammar

this rest is just common sense, if english is your 1st language and you have ever read a technical document you should be fine

    Great Job!

Make sure you post any/all examples that you remember from the exam

  6. i really dont remember any examples but they asked the question about appendixes are are glossaries in like 12 questions. not really anything indept just what they were and their functions, besides that my memory is a little fuzzy, i took managment information systems directly after that and passed it too. I got really lucky on it because i can honestly say i really didnt know anything about management information systems. I read the practice test and learned the terms on the muliple guess questions and my limited computer knowledge, and i guess that was enough. They did a pre-grading on it and said i passed substanitally high on tech writing and on MIS. As far as examples go, i cant really do much better than i already did.
