    Hi

Are these books any good, I have the GRE in 6 weeks and along with CLEP Psychology on Instacert/ and notes from a previous education course I ma hoping that these three books will be enough

GRE Psychology: Everything You Need to Score High
    Sidney Raphael, L. H Halpert

Gre Psychology Test Time Warner International
    Paperback - April 25, 1997

How to Prepare for the GRE in Psychology ~Edward L. Palmer, Sharon L. Thompson-Schill (Editor)
    Barron's Educational Series

Cracking the GRE Psychology (Princeton Review: Cracking the GRE Psychology) ~Meg Jay
    Princeton Review
    Paperback - August 1, 1999

Gre: Psychology Test 3rd O/P ~Educational Testing Service
    Independent Publishers Group
    Paperback - October 16, 2000

I know that Cracking the GRE Psychology is the one that most seem to recommend but it takes 4 to six weeks for the book to get to Europe so I had to consider the older one.

    Thanks

I'm taking it in April, too, and am using Kaplan's GRE Psychology and Princeton Review's Cracking the Clep. I have absolutely no idea how well this will prepare me but figure I'm financially ahead of the game if all I get is lower level credit. Plus I'll have a head start on the upper level exams.

Having said that, I'm still hoping (wishing, thinking, praying) I can do well enough to get all my upper level credits. I'd appreciate some insight from someone who's taken it before.

    Jodokk,

In another thread, you said you had taken the Psychology GRE. How did you prep and how did you fare?

    Hey

I used the Princeton Guide the Cracking the GRE I was in the 75 percentile so it was easier than I thought. I took the Lit GRE too and barely passed (42nd Percentile, sad! But eighteen CREDITS at cosc).
Anyhow, be certain to review your statistics and research design stuff, otherwise, a pretty smart cookie with a couple of psych classes can pass it.
    GOOD LUCK!
