Hi: I am taking the level 1 and level 2 Spanish CLEP exams this Saturday. Has anyone taken these exams? I am hoping they will be easy since I am fluent in reading, writing and speaking Spanish. Please advise, Thanks, Abner
This was the first one I wrote (this is only one test), and if you`re fluent dont bother to study...just take it. From what I remenber: 120 questions, mixed definitions, fill in the blank, 2-3 "look at the flyer, invitation" and etc, and answer 2-3 questions on each. Plus 20 or so questions where you put on headphones and listen to 2-3 sentence convesations and answer the question...pay attention to this...the question are asked over the headphones and only the answer choices are on the screen. I scored a 76/80...good for 12 credit hours, for one test fee! Take it; it`s a gimme.
One test. Your college will post something like: score 50 = 6 cr hr, 60+ = 12 hours Check with your college/university
Thanks once again Thanks Pete, This excellent, I thought I was going to have to pay another $55.00 plus another $20.00 proctor. Cool!!!! Take care, Abner, can wait for Saturday!!
I took it about 6 months ago. Very easy 6 credits. You will have to work a little harder to get 12 but very possible. The ACE recommended scores are 50 for 6 credits and 66 and above for 12. Good Luck!
Thanks! Ok, thanks, I feeling all pumped up for Saturday, I can't wait to take the test. Do you happen to know of any other real easy CELP or DANTES tests? I am trying to rack up as many credits as possible so I can transfer over to Charter Oak State College for my B.A.. Thanks, Abner P.S. I heard the DANTES test "Heres to your Health" is pretty easy.
Re: Thanks once again Thanks once again for all your info. Do you happen to know of any other easy CLEP or DANTES test? Thanks once again, I pumped and ready for Saturday!! Take care, Abner
Re: Re: Thanks once again A few easy ones for most: - DANTES Here's To Your Health (3 credits) - CLEP Analyzing and Interpreting Literature (6 credits) - DANTES Criminal Justice (3 credits) - DANTES Introduction to Law Enforcement (3 credits) You can pretty much take the last 2 back-to-back because they are closely related. A few others that many find straightforward but some don't: - CLEP Humanities (6 credits) - DANTES Drug & Alcohol Abuse (3 credits) - DANTES Principles of Supervision (3 credits) Cheers, Mark
Re: Re: Re: Thanks once again Thanks for the info. I will start in on these after I finish up with Spanish this Saturday. Thanks, Abner
