    Hello Everyone,

Does anybody have more details about DANTES Public Speaking exam? It looks like there are two type of the exam, one with the speech and the other one does not require the speech. Am I right?

SF 829-834 Principles of Public Speaking Essay
Topics (Speech) (One objective exam and one speech are required)

    Or both is one exam?

I took SF 829. You were required to take a multiple choice exam then you had to write a speech, for which they gave you a few minutes to write a speech about a topic they assign you then you had to "give" your speech to the tape recorder--no less than three minutes, no more than five. It was not very difficult, I believe I used an older version of Principles of Public Speaking as a study guide. Good luck.
