I'm preparing to take my first clep "Social Science and History", for those who have passed this exam, what material did you use to study for this?

I just took this test last thursday...

I'd be lying if I said I studied extensively for it (having already taken the U.S. History, Psych, Sociology, and Econ. CLEPS), but this site here has some pretty good resources, as does pink monkey and
    spark notes (especially for economics)

Good luck to you! I'd say it's more history and economics than anything else.

This exam, like the other clep general exams is so broad, it's hard to study for it. I used Princetons "Cracking the CLEP". Must have been OK...I passed.

I am studying for this test right now, and will test on the 18th. I am using a 2002 Arco guide for the general cleps, and have also been using Instacert and doing a very brief review of their sociology, history, and economics quizzes.

I don't have anything constructive to add, because this was one of the CLEPs I didn't take. I filled up my social science requirements with things like Organizational Behavior, and other things I happened to want to take anyway.

I'm sure it must be a great feeling studying for an exam knowing that it'll give you 10% of the credits you need to finish an associate's degree.
