I just called for my score. I made it! I scored a 570, 46th percentile. I just earned 15 credits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm 5 tests away from my degree and I hope to finish by August. Thank you everyone here for your support, information, help and fellowship! I'm so thankful I found this site and Lawrie Miller's site. I can't believe I'm almost there, and I wouldn't without the help I've received here. Thank you, thank you.
I used the Princeton Review and the Kaplan review for the Psych GRE plus the ARCO review book and 3 psych textbooks, one was an intro psych, one was a developmental psych and one was for abnormal psych. If you think you want to try and tackle this you absolutely must get some type of study guide for psych research and have an understanding of statistics. The Princeton Review is touted as THE book for the review. I found it greatly lacking in depth but is a good starting point for research in depth of the topics. It's very very lacking in the research info you need and I don't know where to tell you to look for that. I'm just glad it's over.
CONGRATULATIONS - YOU DID GOOD! What a great personal achievement! Not to mention a victory for all of us distance learners! PLEASE keep us informed! Sincerest congratulations and best wishes for your continued progress! Chase your dream until it catches you!
Way to go Lori! I was sitting on the edge of my chair waiting for those results! Great job! Kepp encouraging us all. Jeremy
I'm enrolled at COSC and their degrees are only in Individualized Studies. My concentration is Nursing/Psychology. All my upper level tests are psych or nursing tests.
Hi Actually COSC only offers degrees in General Studies. They offer concentrations in various things including Individualized Studies which allows an emphasis such as nursing and psychology. According to Randell their degrees and transcripts only list the concentration. I hope this is helpful.
