    Greetings,

I am new to the site and just enrolled at TESC. I was wondering if anybody had any info on TECEP tests. Are they generally harder, easier, or about the same as CLEP and DANTE tests? Also, are the brief sample tests provided by TESC accurate as to the difficulty level and types of questions? And finally, is it best to use the recommended texts, or can alternates be used--such as the ones recommended on this site for DANTE and CLEP?

On a related note, does anybody have any experience with using the e-Pack courses by TESC? If so, are they final tests easier than the equivalent TECEP? I can't see what the advantage of the e-Pack courses are other than the opportuity to take on-line quizzes to assess learning.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am not having the best of luck getting much info from TESC as my transfer credits haven't been evaluated yet.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Eric

Well, from the sample questions for "Behavior Modification Techniques in Counseling", it wasn't clear that one should know the titles and authors of leading books in the field. But the sample questions are fairly accurate.

TECEP exams are cheaper for TESC students than for others, but even for them they're more expensive than DANTES and CLEP. If there's a DANTES or CLEP exam in the same subject, why not take that?
