    Hello Everybody,

Very useful forum, thank you! You all inspired me to finish my education by testing out. I will be joining Exselsior as soon as my previous academic records will be evaluated (I hope I have about 60 creadits towards my BS in Finance). I will gladly post my progress here with tips on different tests I will be taking in the upcoming months.

I would like to ask if you have any advise on taking the Finance test. The most covered topics? How difficult is it? I will be taking it this month.
    Thanks,
    O.

I took the finance exam last year. I found that it wasn't easy but not difficult either. It thoroughly covers all of the subject matter but you must especially master the time value of money.

I'm glad you decided to get your degree. I just finished testing out for a BS in General Business from Excelsior because I could completely test out for it. Since you want to pursue a BS in Finance (I looking for an MS in Finance) I believe there will be some subjects that you will not be able to simply test out for (you will likely have to take some classes) but I wish you luck and success in your studies.

    Thank you Steeler

Based on my research I can test out practically all exams (2 upper core exams through TECEP) but 1 for Finance Degree. “Advanced Corporate Finance” is the only exam I could not find.
Per bain4weeks UW offers this course, but it’s about $550. If somebody has any tips where I can get it faster/cheaper I will greatly appreciate it.
    Thanks,
    O.
