Anybody tested Business Law II recently? And did you find any particular text recommendations on the mark? Thanks in advance.
Took it in August.. my version was *very* heavy on commercial paper topics. The fact predicts 28% "weight" on those topics, but I'd guess it was closer to 40-45%. Smith & Robeson's Business Law was one of the recommended texts. I had a copy from a previous class, and it covers the "big" topics (commercial paper & sale of goods) well. I simply guessed poorly on which areas to spend more time studying, but not so poorly that I didn't squeak by with a credit-bearing score.
I took this exam in 2002 and I would second the opinion that this exam is very heavy on commercial paper.
Can anyone comment as to the degree of difficulty of this exam in comparison to the CLEP Business Law I? Also, how much overlap is there between the two? Thanks.
I took this test last month and got a 72. I agree that the test is heavy on commercial paper. I also took the business law I exam and I found this Dantes to cover a much narrower set of info than the Bus Law I did. Bottom line is, make sure you know a lot about contracts, commercial paper and forms of 3rd party guaranteeship and you should be okay.
Thanks to all for your comments. And to AlexaDeparis - VERY VERY Nice job on your study sheets for Money & Banking and Drug and Alchohol abuse.
Hi, I took the CLEP Business Law I and am now taking Dantes Bus Law II. I've noted from prior posts that I shoud focus on "contracts, commercial paper and forms of 3rd party guaranteeship" Would you say that business law II is a combo of material found in business law I and II? Thanks for your help, Mike
http://home.att.net/~alexadeparis/index.html She graduated recently and is probably still trying to catch her breath ! ! ! I just looked and she hasn't added the Bus Law notes.
