Which one is better suited for completion entirely via examination?
I know both are "possible" to do entirely via examinations, but does one either have more available options of exams or significantly fewer exams required?

I like that the MIS degree is a business degree so it is more usable for a variety of types of jobs, so you are not so type-cast into only tech jobs. On the other hand, if you are going for MCSE certifcations, it is nice to be able to use that towards the CIS degree.

Another choice I'm leaning towards is Liberal Arts, because I think I am much closer to graduation with that degree than with MIS or Cis. I think I am about 30 credits from a Liberal Arts degree vs over 50 credits from MIS or CIS. I could save quite a buit of ytime if I go for the LA degree.
I think I could do a liberal arts degree plus MCSE certification for less total exams than a CIS degree.
However some IT job listings are saying they want a CIS, or MIS or CS degree. The liberal arts degree would be still useful for those jobs that do not specifiy a computer-related degree as being required if you have the experience and certifications.
