Hi there I am about to enroll in Excelsior College to do a bachelors in science of business in accounting. I have no college credits and am looking to test out in this degree and any help towards the exams I should take or if anybody could show me or create a pathway to do this as fast as possible I would be extremely grateful

    Thank you very much

Hi there thank you for that. I haven't had chance to look at the spreadsheets. Is the business administration degree at TESU similar to the business in accounting at Excelsior?
    Many thanks

Both degrees are virtually identical, and both of them have Accounting as one of the concentrations. It won't matter who you go with, you transfer almost all the courses into their degree except the final course - the capstone. Take your pick, you have 4 options, TESU, EC, COSC and WGU...

Excelsior, TESU, and COSC have differences you need to pay attention to. There is no difference in marketability between a business degree from Excelsior and one from TESU other than that TESU's ACBSP accreditation might be more handy than Excelsior's IACBE accreditation. Additionally, I believe Excelsior has a special program meant to meet New York's CPA requirements, and TESU has a special program to meet New Jersey's CPA requirements.

You need to choose which school you want to go with before you start testing out and completing courses because the degree requirements are different. You can't follow a TESU degree plan to finish a degree at Excelsior. If you want to attend Excelsior, then those spreadsheets will not help you.

I am going with Excelsior. If the requirements are different from TESU can anybody provide me with a degree plan for Excelsior or know of anyone who can help with creating one for me?

    Many thanks

This is not my thing but I'm guessing that the people at Excelsior might help. Have you been in touch with them?

Excelsior will not help you unless you're enrolled, and it costs to enroll. If you're trying to test out of a degree, you don't want to enroll at Excelsior until you're almost finished because they charge annual fees. Someone at degreeforum.net might be able to help you, but people tend to have more info on TESU because it's often the better option for business.

Yes I have been in touch with them although haven't enrolled there. Would I be better enrolling at TESU instead if I am doing a business degree I take it? Would it also be easier doing it with them with regards to say the suggested free exams in the beginners guide sticky?

I am about to begin on my degree odyssey starting with the Kaplan pla lrc100 however it says that I have to pay $1500 to have my portfolio assessed. Is there any way around this? Thanks
